‘Impact of Images’ will honor the power of photos like those featured in Jet Magazine and the impact of Mamie Till-Mobley’s leadership by uplifting influential Black Photographers of past and present, empowering Black-led nonprofits fighting for equality and supporting Black-owned businesses and spaces.

As we leverage the virtue of the lens to transcend the spirit of Emmett Till and pay homage to the lesson Mamie Till-Mobley instills in us all. The camera captures the truth and archives the story. 

The curation of storytellers who blazed trails from the 1940s to 1990s captures the layered beauty and pain of Black life. This next generation of vibrant storytellers is rewriting and lamenting joy, peace, love, and power through irrefutable faith, sacrifice, and pleasure.
